Fencing Dates 2012.


Dates for the start of the 2012 season are 13th, 20th, 27th January
4th, 17th, 24th February.
2nd, and 9th March.

All subject to confirmation from Complex.
NEW COURSE FOR 2012.Welcome to our new members for the start of the first course for 2012. I t wont be long before you will join the rest of the club on the piste. If you are not able to make a session, please try to let me know in advance, it helps with my lesson plan. Remember to bring each week your plastron, a glove and a drink. Dates for the course are shown opposite. You are now eligible to by club merchandise.

Existing members should now be fencing on the electrics with a level 2 plastron. It is your own responsibility to ensure you are wearing the correct kit. Also please check your blades after the lay off. Your opponent has the right to check your blade is up to standard before each bout. ARB.

Check the Blademaster BLOG on the links page on the web site. At the moment it is only fun items, but it will soon be used as a back up tool from coaching sessions.

EQUIPMENT. With many new members now having recently joined the club, this is a gentle reminder that the club does not provide body wires for electric fencing. A few club weapons are provided for your use. I have recently bought some upgrades for the weapons which should arrive shortly. Also ensure you have a level 2 plastron for electric fencing.ARB.
